I shouted the words
But nobody heard
Until the very end
Scared even the birds!
Give me your tea!
My fists were high,
Raised to the sky,
They just wouldn't bend
To even the lie!
I want your TEA!
People were screaming,
All lost to dreaming,
Who I'd never call friend,
All the scheming....
Just give me your tea.....

random moments
taking me back in time
the scent of you
the way you looked at me
watched me walk away
let me go
despite the desire
to hold on forever
transported to that moment
a split second
and everything comes flooding back
the feel of you
against me
the way my heart raced
when you were near
a wound
so suddenly
overwhelmingly
fresh
despite
the years
the others
so much
in between
all it took
was that random moment
and i'm split open
again

The more I can't focus,
The more I can't leave,
I couldn't changed my new self,
I know that,
It's so unfair when you can't find a way,
To say sorry,
To be friends again,
Forgotable,
Stupidable,
The more I began to losing,
I felt like...
I lost a sadness,
I couldn't cry, or scream for forgiveness.
But one thing I didn't lose is...
The tear of the day when I was born.

reminding me of where my blood sprung from.
to eat cats' tongues. to eat tree bark, but not a tree's dry veins. peeled off. i am peeled off of the pavement where i melted in the coal mines' sun. a daughter of dry coughs and hidden colours, i swim like an owl through silence through streets. worn down.
to drink the light of the bus' front lights broken at rain. to drink water from the tap in the kitchen. endless fountain of harsh joy. hard work.
heart blood.

I recently joined this group Unseen-Writers and they have this challenge to write about tea, so I decided to take it on. I don't know how good it is because I've never really driven my passion for tea but I love challenges never the less and I wanted to write it just to see if I could. I'm pretty proud of it.
